Positive Quote for the Week: The Lord will Fight Your Battles

One of the worst things that you can do is try to fight your battles on your own. God is very clear in Romans 12:19 when it states, “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.”

One of the reasons why it is vital that you allow the Lord to battle on your behalf is because an ongoing fight can build up negative emotions like anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness. These are open doors that the enemy can use to come into your life and wreak havoc. We are not to give the devil any “place” or legal right to gain access to you and your family, Ephesians 4:27.

The Lord wants you to allow Him to war for you against your enemies because when He does the outcome will always be just and fair. Remember He is the only One that knows the condition of a person’s heart including yours. The last thing that He wants for us is to be bound by the devil because we developed bitterness or unforgiveness in our hearts.

Never forget the fact that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, Ephesians 6:12. Our warfare is and always will be will the devil and his demonic kingdom. He wants nothing more than to kill, steal, and destroy every single one of us, John 10:10.
