Positive Quote for the Week-Know Your Worth!

“Walk with authority: Know your worth, know your purpose, and know Whom you belong to!” Erica Willis

When you know who you are and Whom you belong to, you cannot help but to walk with authority! We were made in the Lord’s image and we are His representation here on Earth. It is our responsibility to live our lives in a way that the people around us will desire to want to live.

Exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit of God is one of the ways that you can represent the Lord the way the He expects us to. Galatians 5:22-23 breaks it down perfectly when Paul writes, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

It’s not about being arrogant, it’s about having a level of confidence that nothing can break. If you don’t hold yourself to the highest standards then who will? Self-assurance is everything when it comes to building your self-esteem, self-worth, and knowing your value!

Some Scriptures that you can meditate on pertaining to how God feels about you are:

  • Psalm 139:13-14 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
  • Hebrews 13:18 “Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.”
  • Job 4:6 “Is not your reverence your confidence? And the integrity of your ways your hope?”
  • Jude 1:22 “And on some have compassion, making a distinction.”
  • 1 Corinthians 1:12 “For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.”
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
  • Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
