Positive Quote for the Week-Imperfectly You
“Completely flawed, never flawless nevertheless, His image of me is perfect! He is love!” Erica Willis
A lot of times we find ourselves comparing ourselves with everyone that is around us. We want to look like they look, have what they have, and live the life that they live; but God made every single one of us distinct and unique. The fact of the matter is that there is only one you and nobody can replace what the Lord placed inside of you.
The enemy loves to use your insecurities, uncertainties, and self-doubt to stop you from walking boldly in your calling. He wants you to feel like you aren’t good enough, talented enough, or smart enough to excel in the area that the Lord created just for you! The devil is a liar and the father of lies.
That is why it is so significant to know what the Lord has to say about you! That way when the enemy comes whispering in your ear about the flaws that you have, you can extinguish them with the Word of God! You have to get to the place where you know who you are and Whom you belong to!
The fact remains that every single one of us has flaws that we wish we could change, embrace them. Your imperfections are what make you distinct, unique, and one of a kind! A masterpiece created in His Image destined for Purpose!
Some Scriptures that you can meditate on pertaining to how God feels about you are:
- Psalm 139:13-14 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. - Hebrews 13:18 “Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.”
- Job 4:6 “Is not your reverence your confidence? And the integrity of your ways your hope?”
- Jude 1:22 “And on some have compassion, making a distinction.”
- 1 Corinthians 1:12 “For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.”
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
- Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
