Positive Quote for the Week: Faith is what will overcome the enemy

One thing is clear and that is that the enemy roams around like a lion searching for someone to devour, 1 Peter 5:8. A person that lives their lives upright in the eyes of the Lord remains unharmed and spotless from their adversary’s devices, solicitations, and assaults. The belief that we have in God and Who He says He is will allow us to overcome the devil’s schemes. Remember the Lord is definitive, it is impossible to please Him without having faith, Hebrews 11:6.

Faith allows born again believers to demonstrate God’s Holy Power prompting and persuading us to put our Trust in Christ and live a NEW life consecrated to Him (2 Corinthians 5:17). Faith also allows us to resist the devil and his strategies because when our faith is immovable; he has no choice but to flee. The enemy knows that and that is why he tries so hard to diminish it.

When you put your confidence and trust in Jesus Christ and what He did for you at the cross at Calvary nothing the devil or his demonic kingdom can do will hinder that level of assurance. He that is in you is greater than he that is in this world, 1 John 4:4. Not to mention the fact that we have been given the free gift of the Holy Spirit Whom will guide you into absolute truth, John 16:13.
