Positive Quote for the Week-Quality over Quantity

Positive Quote-Quantity over quality

“Quality over Quality: Quality relationships, Quality friendships, Quality decisions, and Quality time! Keep your circle small and sweet!” Erica Willis

In life it is so important that we are completely aware of the people that we keep in our circle. The company that you keep is a direct representation of the person that you are. We have to make sure that we are maintaining quality relationships, quality friendships, making quality decisions, and being selective about what we do with our time.

When it comes to quality relationships and quality friendships one key thing that you want to keep in mind is that a person is only going to treat you how you allow them to. It is imperative that you establish barriers early on in the relationship or friendship. By you making it clear where you draw the line and following through with what your standards are, the person will have no choice but to take you seriously.

When it comes to quality decisions and quality time you have to make sure that you have clear direction for your life. Who are you allowing to guide and lead you to making those difficult decisions? Who are you giving your quality time to? If you a believer of Jesus Christ you should be allowing the Lord to lead and guide every one of your steps. Your quality time should always be spent on God first and then everything else will fall right into place just like a puzzle piece.

Make the choice to maintain quality over quantity. You want to keep your circle small and sweet! The fact of the matter is that the people that you allow in your life and the decisions that you make will directly affect you in one way or another. It is your responsibility to make sure that you aren’t allowing yourself to be led astray by people or things that are not beneficial for your life!

You want to ask yourself these questions: am I choosing quality relationships? Am I choosing quality friendships? Am I making quality decisions? Am I spending my time on things that are positive or negative? Answer these questions honestly, if you feel like you need to make some changes don’t be afraid to.

Some Scriptures that you can meditate on pertaining to how God feels about you are:

  • Psalm 139:13-14 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
  • Hebrews 13:18 “Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.”
  • Job 4:6 “Is not your reverence your confidence? And the integrity of your ways your hope?”
  • Jude 1:22 “And on some have compassion, making a distinction.”
  • 1 Corinthians 1:12 “For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.”
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
  • Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
