Positive Quote for the Week-Accept Your Truth

“What have you accepted as your truth? Never doubt your worth, know your potential, and walk in it with no apologies!” Erica Willis

One thing that a lot of people struggle with is self-confidence. We tend to allow outside opinions place seeds of doubt and uncertainty about our value and worth. Don’t allow it to cause you to question yourself. The fact is that you are going to come across people that are going to hate on you for absolutely no reason.

That is why it is so important for you to know who you are and Whom you belong to. When you have confidence and self-esteem the things that other people have to say about you will not affect you. In fact you will use their hatred as motivation to get you to your next level.

One thing that you never want to do is doubt your own potential. God created every single one of us with individualized gifts and talents that cannot be taken away from us. There is only one you so you have to walk with confidence knowing that your life has purpose, His purpose.

Never let society box you up in what they think you should or should not be. Walk in your truth! The reality is that nobody knows your story or the trials and tribulations that you had to face to get to where you are now. Don’t apologize for being a bold, Spirit filled believer of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no better feeling than to know that you are walking fiercely in God’s divine will for your life!

Some Scriptures that you can meditate on pertaining to how God feels about you are:

  • Psalm 139:13-14 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
  • Hebrews 13:18 “Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.”
  • Job 4:6 “Is not your reverence your confidence? And the integrity of your ways your hope?”
  • Jude 1:22 “And on some have compassion, making a distinction.”
  • 1 Corinthians 1:12 “For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.”
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
  • Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
