Positive Quote for the Week: see the brighter side of things

“No matter what is going on in your life, someone out there has it worse. Count your Blessings!” Erica Willis
No matter how bad your situation is, it could always be so much worse. There is someone out there that wishes they could take your place and have the blessings that you have. When tribulation hits, we forget about the roof over our heads, the food on the table, and the fact that we are in good health. God is very clear when He lets us know that we are to be anxious for nothing, Philippians 4:6-7.
Try to see all things in a brighter light, that way when the storms of life occur, they may wound you but they are not going to take you out! One of the main ways that you can remain in a positive place is by saturating your heart and mind in the Lord’s Word. That is where you will get your joy and strength in the midst of your trial, Nehemiah 8:10.
We have to learn how to count our blessings and approach life thanking the Lord for every bit of what we have because it can be snatched away in an instant. One way that you can combat these feelings is by thanking and proclaiming. Thanking God for every bit of what you have and proclaiming God’s Word for the things that you don’t have.
If what you are praying lines up with the Lord’s Word and God’s will for your life, He will hear you. That is why it is so important that you get into your Bible, study it, and apply it to your daily lives. How will you know what the Lord is saying if you don’t know His Word? It is impossible.
Scriptures on being thankful
Colossians 4:2 “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.”
Psalm 106:1 “Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
Psalm 107:21 “Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!”
Psalm 69:30 “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.”
Psalm 13:5 “But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.”
