Positive Quote for the Week-Don’t allow the enemy to steal your peace!
“Don’t give the enemy the satisfaction of taking your peace; meditate on God’s Word day and night!” Erica Willis
One of the mains ways that the enemy hinders our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ is by stealing our peace. He will take the trials and the tribulations that you are facing and intensify them! The Lord makes it clear to us that He wants us to have continual peace 2 Thessalonians 3:16 discloses, “Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.” God wants us to be in peace always!
Another great example of what the Lord thinks about His children having peace is found in Philippians 4:6-7. It states, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
The Apostle Paul is telling us through the Holy Spirit that we are not to be anxious, nervous, worried, or apprehensive about anything. So as soon as those emotions begin to rise up in you, remember what these verses of scripture are telling you. Take those feelings and counteract them with the Word of God.
He tells us that we are to pray about everything. So, we come to Him with our worry, and our anxiety, and our fear and we allow Him to take the burdens from us, Matthew 11:28-30. When we follow what His instructions are telling us to do in His Word, we will activate the supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7.
Scriptures pertaining to keeping your peace
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.”
Colossians 3:15 “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
