Positive Quote for the Week- Fight from a place of Victory

As a believer of Jesus Christ, you have the victory against the wiles of the devil. So, when the enemy and his demonic kingdom come at you, make sure that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has already been defeated. The Lord Jesus disarmed and triumphed over the entire demonic kingdom when He died on the cross for our sins.

We need to recognize that He has given us the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy, Luke 10:19. When you are engaging in this spiritual battle come from a place of victory and not defeat. One of his greatest weapons is instilling fear, but God tells us in His Word that we are not to have the spirit of fear but of power and a sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7.

So, how do we combat the lies and the fiery darts of the enemy? In order for us to fight the devil back we have to get ourselves into God’s Word, our double-edged Sword. Satan’s strategy is to establish spiritual strongholds in our minds because he knows that they are difficult to break. However, the Word of God has the power to make us free and free indeed, John 8:36!

That is why it is imperative that we “stand” against our adversary when he attempts to kill, steal, and destroy, John 10:10. The moment that we allow his lies to penetrate our minds and then into our heart, it is much harder to pull down those thoughts and imaginations as the Apostle Paul advises us to do in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5!
