Positive Quote for the Week-Let your words speak Life

“Our words are extremely powerful, and they can bring forth life or death, choose to bring forth life!” Erica Willis

God is very specific about the effects of the words that come out of our mouths. Proverbs 18:21 details “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” In other words, the things that we speak can bring forth life or they can bring forth death. We have to be extremely cautious that we don’t speak negatively because the enemy will take what you say and use it against you.

One of the ways that the devil establishes attacks against us is by utilizing the words that we say. Whether we choose to believe it or not, our words influence our lives. You determine whether they are positive effects or negative ones based on what you say. Not only are you supposed to be speaking the Word of God over your life, but you are supposed to be speaking God’s Word over your loved ones.

The Scriptures are embedded with the Lord’s promises and assurances, the Word of God is living (Hebrews 4:12) it produces life. The enemy wants you to speak adverse things out loud because he knows that he can easily build strongholds by the damaging verbiage that you are proclaiming out of your mouth.

Make it a point to choose to speak life over every person that you love including yourself. Pray for your spouse, your children, your family members, and your friends, etc. The enemy is searching for someone whom he can devour, do not let it be you or yours!

Scriptures that promote life:

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

Proverbs 3:15 “She is more precious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.”
