One thing is clear and that is that the Lord is the God of Restoration! It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through or how far gone you think that you are, the Lord is able to return every bit of what you lost! Joel 2:25 is the perfect example of restoration as it states, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you.”

When we go through things in life that the enemy used to try to break us, it can be extremely discouraging. Those trials and tribulations that you can’t even talk about because they were that intense can wreak havoc in your mind. Thank the Lord that we do not look like what we’ve been through!

Only the Lord has the ability to peel off those layers of agony and pain that you need to let go of. Being set free from the hands of the enemy is one thing but every single one of us still needs to go through the process of restoration. Allowing the Lord to transform you from the inside out is critical in order for you to receive your full recovery.

2 Corinthians 5:17 details, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” As a believer of Jesus Christ, you are no longer your past but you become a brand-new creation! Allow the Lord to restore, renew, and transform you into the best version that you can possibly be!
