Whether you are a believer or a non-believer, you are in the middle of the spiritual battle against two kingdoms: the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light. There is a battle for your soul. The Lord wants so much to have an intimate relationship with every single one of us, and on the contrary the devil wants nothing more than to destroy every one of us in the hopes that we will join him in the lake of fire.

We all have free will to make the decision whether we want to war for God in His Christian army or if we want to remain blinded by the enemy living for him even if it’s by default. One of the biggest lies of the devil is that he doesn’t exist and so we don’t take his presence seriously which leads to open doorways.

Before you know it, you’re bound mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically and you want to medicate a symptom that is caused by the enemy. The fact of the matter is we need to arm, protect, and guard ourselves even more today against the spiritual forces of evil. The devil is out in the open; he is no longer hiding but is in your face. This spiritual battle is real, and the enemy does not play fair.

It is critical that we learn how to put on the full armor of God and remain equipped against the devil’s schemes!  We cannot let Satan take advantage of us because we remain ignorant of his devices, 2 Corinthians 2:11. We have to get into the Word of God, pray, fast, and increase our time with the Holy Spirit so that we can learn how to defend ourselves from the flaming darts, spiritual attacks, and strong holds that the enemy uses against us.
